Gas Bottle Safety

  1. Remove the protective cap – turn clockwise.
  2. Attach regulator – turn anticlockwise.
  3. Turn on the gas supply – turn the valve anti-clockwise.
  4. Check all connections for gas leaks, and use soapy water.
    If the leak is still present, it will look like a cluster of small bubbles.
    Turn off the Gas Valve – disconnect the regulator, and remove the cylinder to an outdoor area.
  5. Contact Geogas Cook Islands for any assistance or advice.
  6. Turn cylinder/s off when not being used.
  7. Keep cylinders upright.
  8. Keep away from the source of heat.
